On behalf of a premium service company delivering cross-border life insurance to high profile clients, we are recruiting a Senior Legal Counsel for Spanish & LATAM Market (M/F) to join the Legal team. Your role: Provide legal advices to the company in respect of development of solutions and business relationships with clients and partners; Develop good working relationships with our network of sales consultants, providing them with guidance and support on all legal aspects of the company’s client cases; Draft and negotiate partners agreements, insurance policies and any other relevant legal document; Legal watch (new laws and regulations relevant to our business) conducting legal research and follow-up on legal and regulatory changes to ensure the company is well placed to respond to changes; Advise management and staff on all legal matters including training; Manage complaints and litigation, liaising with external counsels, in order to support the corporate position; Participate in corporate projects and product development; Ensure full compliance with all Group legal and local requirements that are within the scope of the legal function especially defining risks and legal and regulatory requirements. Your profile: Graduated in Law, the Bar admittance in Spain would be considered as an asset; At least 5 years of experience as lawyer or in-house legal counsel dealing with the insurance sector; Excellent drafting skills and meticulous; Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; Native in Spanish and fluent in English.
