Application support specialist M/F - Luxembourg

Your new company

A leading international wealth management group working with institutional and private client operating in several financial centres. Group IT team based in Luxembourg Head office.

Currently looking for Application/Tech support level 2 professional

Your new role

• Resolve technical incidents/problems: analyse, document, find root cause, resolve/fix
• Maintain and improve the bank's applications and install new ones
• Provide application support and tech assistance to internal stakeholders
• Monitor/follow-up of daily processes
• Manage the interfaces between all applications
• Point of contact/coordinate for external providers
• Continuous learning and improvement

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree in Computer Sciences
• 3 years min. experience in an IT Team
• Great scripting abilities (Shell Bash) and UNIX commands.
• Knowledge of SQL
• General understanding of IT infrastructure (Server, Network, System administration, etc...)
• Excellent problem skill & work well under pressure
• Strong team spirit, eager to learn
• Strong command of English and good communication skills
• Other languages like French/German would be a benefit
• PowerShell is a nice to have
• Webserver experience (Tomcat, IIS) will be considered as a nice to have
• Experience in the financial sector will be considered as a nice to have
